Want to make Oxford more open?
A huge amount goes on in Oxford to encourage young people to stay engaged with education and consider applying to competitive universities. This is generally referred to as ‘access’ or ‘outreach’, and there are loads of opportunities for for current undergraduates to get involved at all levels.
There are three main ways you can get involved with this through Target Schools: taking part in our Shadowing Days, volunteering at a Roadshow, or joining our Committee. Click on the options in the drop-down menu above for more details on each. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to our mailing list, and give us a like on Facebook. We post information about upcoming Shadowing Days, as well as dates for the short Safeguarding Training session mandatory before taking part.
Target Schools is one of many initiatives aimed at widening access to Oxford. For details of how to get involved in outreach through your college, in your subject, at home, or in other University projects, as well as opportunities for international students and postgraduates, head over to OUSU’s Access Hub.
