Want to make Oxford more open?
There’s a huge amount of activity going on all across Oxford, aimed at encouraging young people to stay engaged with their education, find out about their options, and consider applying to Oxford or other competitive universities. This is generally referred to as ‘access’ or ‘outreach’, and there’s huge scope and demand for current students to get involved at all levels.
There are currently three main ways you can get involved with this through Target Schools: taking part in our shadowing scheme, running a Roadshow, and joining our committee. Click on the options in the menu above for more details on each of them.
If you want to help out, email us at email@example.com and we will add you to our mailing list! We will be sending out information about all our schemes and training sessions in the near future. We will also be visiting colleges to deliver shadowing day training in the next few weeks. Take a look at our Facebook page for event details!!
Target Schools is only one of several initiatives to widen access to Oxford. For details of how to get involved in outreach through your college, in your subject, back home, or in other University projects, as well as opportunities for international students and postgraduates, go to OUSU’s Access Hub.
